Stephanie Milligan BA, CFP, CLU
Having attended both Ottawa U and Queen’s
University, Stephanie began her career in the financial services
industry in 1993. Throughout her years as a small business owner,
she has seen many changes in the financial services landscape
and has come to realize that a relationship of mutual trust and
commitment from all parties involved in the planning process is
the essential ingredient to a long-term association with her clients.
Early in her career, Stephanie observed the importance of offering
professional level advice. As a result, she obtained both her
CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) and her CFP (Certified Financial
Planner) designations. Her ongoing commitment to continually keeping
up-to-date is evidenced by various conferences and seminars which
she regularly attends throughout North America. She is a local
Past-President of Advocis, the national association of choice
for financial advisors, and was recently appointed to the MGI
Wealth's Advisory Council, representing their independent
advisors in Ontario at the National level.
Outside
the office, Stephanie is particularly committed to the arts, and
believes in the value of contributing to her community in a tangilble
way. She is currently Chair of the Board at her church, as well
as with Cantabile Choirs of Kingston. She is also a proud sponsor of
the Kingston Canadian Film Festival.
Her personal interests are, of course, her two
children, alpine skiing, reading, theatre, with a particular passion
for music and travelling. Stephanie’s business and life
philosophies are very straightforward: treat people the way you
want to be treated. It really is that simple.
Courtney Suthern
After moving to Kingston to attend Queen’s University, Courtney
understandably fell in love with the Limestone City and decided
to make it her home. With a degree in English Literature under
her belt, and two years experience as Vice President of the Queen’s
Swing Club, she decided to pursue a field which would allow her
super-organizational skills to flourish. She brings a cheery disposition
and many years of customer service to her role at Limestone Financial.
When not behind the desk, Courtney enjoys the simple things in
life: dancing in summer thunderstorms, stopping to smell the flowers,
fresh picked berries, a good home-cooked meal… She divides her
time equally between pleasure reading, Swing dancing, and being
entertained by her Dwarf Rabbit, Jazzy.
